The “Immigration Information Centre” specialises in providing Australian
Immigration Information and Visa Services to our clients.

Principal Migration Agent

Immigration Information Centre’s owner and Director, Lazar Petkantchin (Migration Agent Registration Number: 1688444), has over 8 years of experience with the Australian Department of Immigration and Border Protection. Some of the main visas Lazar has dealt with as a Case Officer and/or an information officer are:

  • Student Visas
  • Partner Visas
  • Temporary Work (Skilled) 457 visas
  • Employer Nomination Scheme (187)
  • Various Visitor Visas 6.General Skilled Migration  
  • Resident Return Visas
  • Lazar served as the liaison officer between DIBP and the AAT (former MRT) for 457, ENS, Visitor and Resident Return Visas

Lazar has a Bachelor Degree from Macquarie University (Australia) with a major in Politics, focusing on the Middle East.  In order to become a registered as a Migration Agent, Lazar completed his studies in Australian Migration Law and Practice from the Australian National University.

Some of the other organisations Lazar has worked for are the Australian Bureau of Statistics and the Office of the Protective Commissioner (NSW Government).

Education Agent

Our Principal Education Agent, Takako has over 7 years of experience in helping students to discover the best study pathway for their particular needs. Takako has assisted students from Japan, Bulgaria, Macedonia, Mongolia, Russia and Israel.


  • A four years Bachelor of Humanities and Social Science majoring in European and American Culture from the Faculty of Education at the University of Miyazaki, Japan.
  • A certified Japanese Language Teacher from The Society for Teaching Japanese as a Foreign Language.
  • Diploma of Children’s Services from N.S.W., Australia – Child Care Teacher.
  • English Teacher Development: TESOL Preparation Certificate.

Marketing and European Coordinator

Our Education and Marketing Specialist, Chris Darov, has on his CV, amongst other things, experience in supervising programs sponsored by the European Union (EU) over a nine year period.  His ability to research EU legislation, and his knowledge in preparing and managing applications for a range of EU grants has equipped him with all the right skills to become our Education consultant for Europe.

Chris Darov is the first point of contact for all our potential or current European clients.

Mr. Darov has a Bachelor Degree in European Studies and a Master Degree in Regional Development Management.

In  2014 Chris Darov decided to travel for a holiday to Australia. He becomes so fascinated by the nature and lifestyle in Australia that he decided to start a business, which would assist other people to visit and study in Australia.

Two years later this vision was successfully realised when Chris became the representative of Immigration Information Centre for Europe.
